Adenine

Adenine is the nucleobase that forms the nucleoside adenosine when attached to the sugar ribose and the nucleoside deoxyadenosine when it is attached to deoxyribose. It also forms several nucleotides including the ribonucleotides AMP, ADP, ATP, the deoxyribonucleotide dAMP, and cAMP.
