A triangular region on the dorsum of the hand between the tendons of extensor pollicis longus (ulnar side) and extensor pollicis brevis/abductor pollicis longus (radial side). It is clinically important as tenderness here may indicate scaphoid fracture.

The snuffbox also contains sensory fibres from the radial nerve and the radial artery
