John Templeton Bowen (1857-1940). American dermatologist.[1]
Described the progressive change in skin from solar keratosis to carcinoma-in-situ - his eponymous disease - and beyond in 1912.[2]
(Squamous) vulvar intra-epithelial neoplasia (VIN) is a pre-cancerous skin lesion of the vulva, previously known as Bowen's disease of the vulva.[3]
