The artery is the most medial structure. Usually try to miss it

The space on the anterior aspect of the lower arm and upper forearm, bordered by the muscles, the elbow, and skin through which pass the median nerve, brachial artery and veins. Blood is commonly taken from the veins here but drips should be sited some distance away if possible.
