Dermatology is a speciality in which the appearance (and the feel) of the lesions - since they are primarily on the skin, and therefore visible and tangible - can be very helpful in reaching a diagnosis.
A dermatology atlas is a book of pictures of dermatological conditions.
Atlases that have been recommended by e.g. DNUK members include:
- DermAtlas Online (a free, internet resource)
- DermNet Another, based in NZ
- Levene's Colour Atlas of Dermatology[1]
