Desmopressin is a synthetic analogue of anti-diuretic hormone (ADH)

Desmopressin is used as replacement for ADH in pituitary failure from whatever cause, and in enuresis - in cases where part of the cause is a large volume of urine produced at night.

Side effects

  • Rash (rare)
