Introduction
Dofetilide is an antiarrhythmic agent that works by induction of slow inward sodium current, which prolongs the action potential and refractory period of myocardial cells. Magnesium supplementation makes the drug even more effective and safer[1]. It works with refractory ventricular arrhythmias[2] and in refractory pharmacological atrial fibrillation patients[3].
