For more complex formluae the mathematical formulae may be required. This type of formula is contained by <math> tags as follows: <math>2 + 2</math> produces 2 + 2.

The syntax for the formula is fairly simple, honestly—The formula is composed of bits as you would normally try to type them. ax^2 + bx + c = 0</math> is rendered as ax2 + bx + c = 0

To combine basic expressions like the above into complicated formulae, the following constructions are helpful.


\frac{ numerator }{ denominator }


Square root: \sqrt{x}
Cube root: \sqrt[3]{x}
Nth root: \sqrt[n]{x}
