Symptoms
Drooping eyelid
Signs
- Ptosis of eyelid - incomplete.
- Miosis (small pupil on affected side)
- Pupils remain reactive to light.
Other features (not universal as depend on site of lesion)
- Anhidrosis of same side of face
Causes
- Pancoast's tumour
- Iatrogenic, e.g. following interscalene block
- Carotid aneurysm (tens to be painful)
- Neck tumours
- Syringomyelia
- Syringobulbia
