UK sites for both professionals and the public

Web sites from other (non-UK) countries for both professionals and the public

Some of the resources from non-UK countries are excellent. It is important to remember, however, that policies and vaccination programmes differ from country to country, and even within countries. As such, information may not be directly applicable to UK practice.

Web sites primarily intended for professionals

Journals that include a lot of articles relating to vaccination and immunisation

  • Vaccine, from Elsevier. This journal covers laboratory science, epidemiology, economics, and social science relating to vaccination and immunisation.
  • Lancet
  • BMJ
  • Journal of Infectious Diseases
  • Immunity - basic science relating to vaccination and immunisation.
  • Vaccines in Practice - not so much a journal for primary research findings, but more a practical magazine aimed at a non-specialist audience. (DOI - one of the ganfyd editors is editor of this magazine.)
