  • Seizures (+/- predisposing condition)
  • Tendonitis
  • Arthropathy in immature animals - so avoided in children (except nalidixic acid) unless extenuating circumstances (only reversible musculoskeletal symptoms have been reported)
  • Photosensitivity
  • Acute kidney injury (association - doubles relative risk)
