Livedo reticularis

One of the two main forms of livedo and indeed usually confused with the pathological livedo racemosa when livedo reticularis was defined as physiological by Ehrmann in 1907. Not helping matters is that the commonest pathological association of livedo (up to 40%), being antiphospholipid syndrome was not described until the 1980s^[1]. It is a violaceous netlike patterned erythema of the skin.
