Phobias and their treatment are more similar than different, although claustrophobia and agoraphobia for instance look strikingly dissimilar at first sight.

Claustrophobia

The fear of enclosed spaces impinges on medical treatment in difficulty providing imaging with MRI or CT scanning and treatment with hyperbaric oxygen as well as with less blatant examples.

Agoraphobia is often translated as fear of open spaces, but the agora was the market place in the Greek city states at the time of Hippocrates, and the hustle bustle and noise tend to be a factor as well or as much as open ness.
