The posterior cutaneous nerve of the arm is a branch of the radial nerve.

Anatomical Course

The nerve is the first branch of the radial nerve, arising in the axilla and passing medially to supply the posterior skin distally as far as the olecranon. It passes posterior to the intercostobrachial nerve.

Sensory Supply

The posterior skin of the upper arm from the distal portion of the axilla to the olecranon.
