Maternity Pay
After a full one of year continuous NHS employment, mothers-to-be are entitled to
- 8 weeks full pay,
- 18 weeks half pay,
- then statutory maternity pay [1]
GP registrars must be over 29 weeks gestation at the end of the contract to qualify for maternity benefits.
