Clinical Use
Indications
- nausea, including post-operative nausea and vomiting
- motion sickness
Administration
Oral
- 5mg t.d.s. for labryinthine dysfunction
- 5-10mg t.d.s. for prevention of nausea and vomiting
IM 12.5mg then ideally oral dose
PR
- 25mg then ideally oral dose
- 5mg t.d.s. for migraine
Buccal
- As Buccastem®
- Place between upper lip and gum
- Comes in 3mg tablets
- 1-2 tablets b.d.
