RANK ligand

Receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand is an osteoclast differentiation and activation factor which also augments the ability of dendritic cells to cause T-cell proliferation. It is coded by the TNFSF11 gene at 13q14 which has variants associated with osteoporosis risk.
