Refractory anaemia

Refractory anaemia(RA) is one of the FAB (French-American-British) subclassifications of myelodysplasia. According to the ICD10 WHO classification it has two main subtypes:

  • With ringed sideroblasts (FAB: RARS)
  • Without ringed sideroblasts (FAB: RA)
