ΕΤΥΜΟΛΟΓΙΑ

Described by Karl Albert Ludwig Aschoff (1866-1942), German pathologist, and Karl Freiherr von Rokitansky (translated as Karl, Baron of Rokitansky), Austrian pathologist (1804-1878).

Epithelial crypts of the gallbladder wall. May be normal incidental finding, but also associated with chronic or repeated cholecystitis.
