I'm not sure about the vaccination bit. There was a fall in pertussis vaccination due to an ill-founded scare in the 1970s; and the MMR scare started in the late 1990s and is now, possibly, beginning to return to sanity. --Penglish 13:14, 24 January 2006 (CET)

- The Wakefield article came out in late 90s - 1998 (see MMR the facts link. Main effects came later, very end of 90s. I thought the reference to the 90s might have been a typo - pertussis scare was mid-70s. --Penglish 16:47, 24 January 2006 (CET)
