Transcatheter arterial chemoembolisation (TACE) is a chemotherapy technique that directs a chemical with tumour necrotising properties by direct placement (radiologically) of a catheter into the tumour's arterial blood supply. It may be used in treating hepatic metastatic or other malignancy.
