Vaccinomics is a term which has been defined by Poland and colleagues as "predictive or individualized vaccinology".[1][2]

This describes the production of prophylactic or therapeutic vaccines which are tailor-made for a specific individual. One example of such a vaccine is a DNA vaccine incorporating DNA which codes for a protein that acts as an adjuvant or conjugate molecule, and also DNA which codes for proteins expressed on a specific individual's cancer cells.
