Waldenström's macroglobulinaemia (Waldenström macroglobulinemia) is a condition associated high serum levels of IgM antibody, often in association with a rare low grade non-Hodgkins lymphoma (lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma). About 90% of cases are associated with a point mutation (L265P) in the MYD88 gene,[1] although the mutation is not specific to WM/LPL.[2][3]
